When it comes to the composition and mechanical properties of Titanium Ball Valves, they are usually made from either Titanium Grade 2 or Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V). Grade 2 is nearly pure titanium, containing about 99.2% Ti, which provides outstanding corrosion resistance. On the other hand, Grade 5 incorporates aluminum and vanadium to boost strength. The mechanical properties showcase tensile strength ranging from 344 MPa for Grade 2 to over 900 MPa for Grade 5, along with impressive ductility and impact resistance.
