Copper Nickel 70/30 tubing is made up of roughly 70% copper and 30% nickel, along with trace amounts of iron and manganese to boost its strength and resistance to corrosion. This alloy is particularly effective against seawater corrosion, erosion, and stress corrosion cracking. Typically, the tubing boasts tensile strengths between 310 and 355 MPa, a yield strength of about 125 MPa, and an elongation of around 30%. It performs reliably under high pressure and elevated temperatures, making it a great choice for demanding applications that require both durability and corrosion resistance.
